I bet you didn’t know that there is a specific class of vegetables that contain very specific phytonutrients that actually help to fight against belly fat.

Firstly there are certain chemicals in our food supply and our environment, such as pesticides, herbicides, and certain petrochemicals from household cleaners, cosmetics, etc can act as xenoestrogens.

These xenoestrogens can cause problems in both sexes because they can cause hormone imbalances if there is excess exposure to them.

They can stimulate the body to store belly fat when we are exposed to them on an almost daily basis.

So here’s where this specific class of vegetables comes in handy

Certain cruciferous vegetables have specific nutrients that fight those xenoestrogens that are making you store more belly fat. The best vegetables are brussel sprouts, cauliflower, kale and broccoli.

The fact that these vegetables work against the estrogenic effects will enable you to fight and reduce belly fat.

This is another reason to eat your veggies just like your mother told you.

I’ve really learned to like all these veggies, even brussells sprouts. I melt a little grass-fed cheese on them with some garlic. Try to come up with your own healthy, low fat way to eat these veggies.

Now , there are some spices that also can help you burn off the fat

Capsaicin, which is found in red chilis, has the ability to in crease your energy output through heat expende by over 20% when you take it with breakfast.

2. Black Pepper increases body heat (thermogenesis) by bonding to TRPV1 receptors in the brain.

The spice turmeric fights cancer and also has a thermogenic effect.

Combine these three spices: Red chili pepper, black pepper and turmeric, and use them liberally (as you can handle them) on your lunch and dinner meals.

Just be careful not to overdo the spices, otherwise you’ll end up with more heartburn than fatburn.
