You can’t target fat loss.
When you burn off fat, it is first burnt up from the most recent place it was gained. Therefore, if you are seeing a general change in most of your physique, bar your thighs and bum, then it was probably the first place to gain fat and also the last place to eliminate fat from.
What I would say is to keep going with the aerobic exercise. This doesn’t necessarily mean jumping about in a leotard to 80s club music, but basically it means anything that makes you sweat, anything that makes you out of breath and anything that makes your heart beat faster.
I would list a load of exercises, but I’m sure you know them all anyway; what I would suggest though is that if you want to easily and quickly burn fat, raise your metabolism.
This can be done by many many ways. Obviously, any form of exercise for starters – a half hour run speeds up your metabolism up to three times for the next few hours. Also coffee speeds up metabolism. Smoking does (although I seriously wouldn’t recommend starting if you don’t already). Even watching a scary movie! Basically do anything that makes your heart pound and I promise you will see more results
Benefits of a stationary bike:
Cardiovascular i.e. gets your heart pumping, which means you will burn fat.
Also, very good for toning and (if done enough) growing muscles in your thighs and hips.

Best exercises to hit the thighs and butt would be squats and lunges. Depending on your diet you could have different effects. If you are wanting to lose fat in these areas, then you are going to have up your cardio and eat healthy. You can’t spot reduce fat by doing exercises that hit that area. Now if you want to build some muscle in these areas to make them look more toned, then eat a little more than usual and perform squats.
